Taishi Nakashima (Member, IEEE) is an Assistant Professor at the Ono Laboratory, School of Systems Design, Tokyo Metropolitan University. He received the B.E. degree in engineering from Osaka University in 2019, the M.S. degree in informatics from Tokyo Metropolitan University in 2021, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the same university in 2024. He was supported by the JSPS Research Fellowship (DC1) between 2021 and 2024 before joining the faculty.
His research interests include acoustic signal processing, microphone-array signal processing, and online blind source separation. Dr. Nakashima is a member of the Acoustical Society of Japan and the IEEE Signal Processing Society, and he reviews regularly for conferences such as ICASSP and APSIPA ASC. He has received the 24th Best Student Presentation Award of the ASJ, the 16th IEEE SPS Japan Student Conference Paper Award (2022), and a Top 3% Recognition at ICASSP 2023.
